Fees in writing
A fixed fee for each stage, agreed before it starts. You can pause after any stage.
Cost plans at every stage
A realistic build cost from the first sketch, updated as the design firms up, so the budget never surprises you at tender.
Low energy as standard
Every new house and extension is modelled for energy from the concept stage, not added at the end.
Questions
How are your fees worked out?
For whole houses, a percentage of the build cost, fixed as a sum once the concept is agreed. For extensions, interiors and planning, a fixed fee per stage. Every fee is in a written appointment before we start.
Do you work outside the Kell valley?
For new houses, yes, within about two hours of the studio. For extensions and interiors we stay closer, so we can be on site every week.
Are you RIBA chartered?
Yes: four of us are chartered architects, and the practice is a RIBA chartered practice with professional indemnity insurance.
